What OfferUp's own notifications do
OfferUp lets you save a search in its app and get notified about new matches. Those notifications live inside the OfferUp app, cover one search at a time and arrive on OfferUp's schedule. Pouncify does not replace them; it gives you a watcher across every marketplace you use, with your other saved searches, on a pace you set.
How Pouncify watches OfferUp
OfferUp needs no login, so Pouncify reads the public search results and listings for your area — no account, nothing to get restricted. Each listing carries its exact posting time, so Pouncify knows to the minute how new a listing is before it alerts you.
OfferUp limits how often one internet connection may ask for results, so Pouncify paces its OfferUp checks conservatively and spreads them out; you still set the schedule, the gaps between checks and the active hours. OfferUp operates in the United States, so Pouncify offers it to US users and hides it elsewhere.
What you get

- Pick where alerts should go — Telegram, email, Discord or the phone app — review the pacing limits, and turn the schedule on. Your computer does the watching from then on.
Limits, plainly
Your computer has to be on for the watching to happen; the phone app pairs with it rather than replacing it. Alerts arrive within minutes, not seconds, because Pouncify paces its checks to keep your accounts and your connection safe. Pouncify is read-only: it never messages sellers, posts, bids or buys — the reply is your move.

Do I need an OfferUp account?
No. OfferUp search results and listings are public, and Pouncify reads them the way your browser would. There is nothing to sign in to.
Why don't I see OfferUp in Pouncify?
OfferUp operates in the United States, so Pouncify offers it to US users and hides it elsewhere. If your region was detected wrongly you can turn OfferUp on yourself in the app's Marketplaces settings.
